PicDefense is a tool that helps website owners protect their images from copyright infringement. In order to crawl your website and perform image checks, our crawler bot needs to be able to access your pages. In some cases, website security measures like Cloudflare can block our bot from accessing your site. To ensure that our bot can access all of your pages, and to ensure we check ALL your images, it is necessary to whitelist it.

Step-by-Step Guide to Whitelist PicDefense in Cloudflare #
- Log into your Cloudflare account and select the “Security” tab from the left menu.
- Select WAF to access the Web Application Firewall security settings
- Go to the “Firewall Rules” tab
- Click on “Create Firewall Rule“
- Give the firewall rule a descriptive name such as “Whitelist PicDefense Crawler Bot UserAgent“
- Set the “Field” to “User Agent“
- Set “Operator” to “equals“
- Set “Value” to:
